One of Asia's largest general trade book publishers, Marshall Cavendish, has recently signed a deal to provide an initial 28 Asian business titles to award-winning and premier provider of e-learning and performance support solutions, SkillSoft.
Marshall Cavendish titles will be incorporated into SkillSoft's Books24x7 20,000-plus online book collection which is read by subscribers looking to access a range of topics such as project management, economics and leadership development, as well as titles focused on individual health and personal financial education.
The titles, handpicked by Marshall Cavendish, will include best-selling business titles such as India Rising: Emergence of a New World Power by Tarun Das, Colette Mathur and Frank-Jurgen Richter and Managing in the Discomfort Zone: Essential Skills for Dealing with Unpleasant, Sensitive, Awkward, Difficult, Uncomfortable and Embarrassing Management Situations by Patrick Forsyth.
These books offer an assortment of diverse and topical Asia Pacific focused themes that provide a wide variety of information catering to the needs and interests of readers in Singapore, Malaysia, Korea and the like. This collection will enable companies to search and find local subject matter to help address local challenges. Managers will also have access to best practice material that can help address issues that may be unique to the local business culture.
The books will be accessible to subscribers of Books24x7's (www.books24x7.com) BusinessPro and Well BeingEssentials packages.
