Skillsoft Announces 2012 Skillsoft Perspectives Australia Conference Two-Day Event

Skillsoft, an innovative pioneer in the field of learning who provides cloud based learning solutions for its customers worldwide, has launched details for its annual Skillsoft Perspectives Australia conference. This year, Perspectives Australia will run over two days, showcasing a suite of speakers, workshops and case studies for the 150+ expected participants.

The 2012 Skillsoft Perspectives Australia Conference is being held in Sydney from 15th to 16th August and will cover a wide breadth of elearning topics and knowledge cultures in the 21st century, aligned closely with this year's theme Motivate, Innovate, Learn: Driving Value Through Learning.

The keynote speech will be presented by Sue Langley, CEO of Emotional Intelligence Worldwide.  In her presentation, Transforming Culture by Leading with Innovation and Fostering Creativity, Sue Langley will address emotional intelligence, positive psychology and the neuroscience of leadership.

Sue will also grasp the functions of the human brain and productivity to maximise team engagement, discover how to use emotions and energy to develop higher levels of creativity for insightful ideas and build cohesive and sustainable leadership teams by understanding the motivation attached to work activities.

According to Glenn Nott, Skillsoft Vice President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific, the two-day 2012 Skillsoft Perspectives Australia conference will offer access to sought-after speakers, trainers and authors, giving participants a diverse suite of helpful material and information-rich advice.

A special workshop on the second day will focus on talent development reporting principles and will be hosted by Kieran King, Global Director, Loyalty Strategy, Skillsoft.

2012 Skillsoft Perspectives Australia will also play host to the Skillsoft Innovation Awards. These awards will honour Skillsoft customers for their significant achievements in elearning, recognising innovative ideas and inspiring leaders who are helping to transform the learning landscape.
