Skillsoft, an innovative pioneer in the field of learning who provides cloud based learning solutions for its customers worldwide, has launched details for its annual Perspectives Australia & New Zealand conference. The two-day conference will showcase a complement of speakers, workshops and case studies that encompass elearning to an audience of about 150 delegates.
The 2013 Skillsoft Perspectives Australia & New Zealand conference will be held in Sydney from 21st to 22nd August and will cover a suite of elearning topics and strategies from various industry sectors in Australia and New Zealand. Aligning closely with the theme ‘Learning Transformed', delegates will learn how to link learning to business values, maximise dollars dedicated to learning, and hear about innovative trends and Skillsoft's solutions strategy.
The keynote speech will be presented by Dr Ian Metcalfe, Director and Principal Consultant, Adaptive Learning, whose consultancy is committed to improving the job satisfaction, personal well-being, leadership capacity and the maturity and performance of employees and organizations.
Dr Metcalfe will explore 21st century leadership qualities including why being a manager doesn't automatically make you a leader, discovering the adaptive leader's role in the learning and development of others, and why organisational learning is a necessity for survival in the 21st century.
