Marconi switches e-learning provider to gain competitive advantage

Following an extensive evaluation of e-learning suppliers, SkillSoft has won a three-year contract to provide e-learning to Marconi Corporation’s global workforce

Nashua, NH – February 16, 2004 – Following an extensive evaluation of e-learning suppliers, SkillSoft has won a three-year contract to provide e-learning to Marconi Corporation’s global workforce.

Marconi Corporation has committed to a three-year expandable contract for 3,000 user licences after trialing SkillSoft’s MultiModal Learning solution (MML) - which combines Marconi’s own bespoke e-learning content with Skillsoft’s generic IT and business e-learning and Books24x7 referenceware. SkillSoft will deliver the learning in five languages via its portal – SkillPort 6.
