SkillSoft Sponsors Workshop Series on e-Learning Implementation

Two-Day Sessions Cover Success Strategies for Implementing e-Learning into Overall Corporate Training Programs

Nashua, NH - June 6, 2002 - SkillSoft Corp. (NASDAQ: SKIL), a leading provider of e-learning courseware and ReferenceWare for business and IT professionals, today announced a workshop series designed to give new and existing clients assistance in designing, planning, and executing an e-learning initiative. The two-day workshops will be conducted virtually and in select cities throughout the United States and Canada through the remainder of 2002. The first workshop will be conducted virtually from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (EDT) on June 19 and 26.

The workshop will include presentations and interactive discussions on these and related topics:

  • Setting realistic and measurable program goals and success criteria.
  • Integration of e-learning into strategic corporate initiatives.
  • The role of organizational culture and its impact on e-learning success.
  • Communications and marketing.
  • Measuring results.
  • Overcoming resistance to e-learning.

Case studies and best practices will be shared throughout the workshops, which are targeted to anyone with responsibility for implementing and overseeing learning and development initiatives, including training executives, project managers, and training administrators.
