This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to configure, secure and deploy networking technologies associated with a Windows Server 2008 network infrastructure. This includes DNS, DHCP, Remote Access and IPSec.
Target Audience
This course is recommended for Microsoft technology specialists who are looking to move to network or enterprise administration, to include support for servers operating such roles as DHCP, DNS, remote access and security. This course also provides a fundamental understanding of TCP/IP addressing.
Prerequisites
To fully benefit from this course, the student should have basic knowledge of Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, understand basic security concepts and methodologies, familiarity with services such as DHCP and IPSec. The student must have basic computing skills on using a mouse, a keyboard, a web browser, and the ability to navigate through various menus. The student must understand spoken and written English.
