Automatic content updates provide hosted SkillPort customers with new content as it is released for maximum currency and convenience.
Licensing SkillPort includes a new integrated offering that enhances the current SkillPort platform by adding the capability of a virtual classroom. The virtual classroom capability is delivered with the SkillPort platform, giving SkillSoft customers the ability to run blended learning training events. The training program manager can now run virtual training sessions and provide all of the LMS capability that the SkillPort offers.
LMS flexibility
For customers that prefer to use a different learning management system, our courseware is certified to comply with AICC and SCORM integration standards and SkillSoft provides support for adapting your SkillChoice solution to your third party LMS. SkillSoft has also developed our Open Learning Services Architecture. Open Learning Services are a set of Web services designed to allow developers to integrate SkillSoft content and services into their respective platforms. These capabilities include a fully-integrated search (Search & Learn®), catalog management, mentoring, course catalog hierarchy, Learning Programs and support for KnowledgeCenters.
