Business Exploration Series

Realistic and highly engaging learning

Today's learners expect e-learning to be as engaging and visually rich as many of the Web-based environments they encounter on a daily basis. SkillSoft’s latest content innovation, the Business Exploration Series, was designed with those expectations in mind.

SkillSoft has introduced the Business Exploration Series to provide learners with scenario-based learning that enables them to experience real world situations in safe, exploratory environments. The Business Exploration Series includes two different learning assets, the Business Impact Series and the Challenge Series, designed to engage the learner in rich, authentic learning experiences.

Business Impact Series

SkillSoft's Business Impact Series learning assets provide users with concise dramatizations of frequently encountered business problems, and offer key takeaways that can impact these problems. Five to 10 minutes in length, Business Impact titles drive business efficiency by delivering practical solutions quickly. The content is rich and engaging, with innovative use of video-based content bringing to life problems and solutions.

Challenge Series

SkillSoft's Challenge Series titles are media-rich case studies focused on content analysis, problem solving and decision making. Each Challenge presents learners with a specific objective or goal, along with related discovery material and multiple potential solutions. Learners are “challenged” to analyze a business problem and discovery material, select one of several potential solutions, and then defend or justify their selections by answering questions about the selected outcome. Like the Business Impacts, Challenges use video and Flash to create realistic characters and contextually rich workplace environments.
