SkillSoft's Blended Learning Resources provide a collection of tools designed to help organizations leverage the instructional content from 100 of SkillSoft's most popular business skills courses, and through facilitated and guided activities, apply the knowledge gained to their own workplace situations.

Blended Learning Resources help managers present, engage and reinforce the subject matter contained in the courses, and to align that learning with the needs of their departments and teams.

What is Blended Learning?

  • A mix of learning activities appropriate to the learning objectives or target learner environment
  • An asynchronous/synchronous model that utilizes a combination of online learning, classroom training or other resources to transfer new knowledge and skills to the workplace
  • A model that blends the e-learning experience into workplace or classroom experiences.

SkillSoft's Blended Learning Resources create a framework for bringing knowledge and skills from e-learning courses into discussions and activities that reinforce learning. These activities help learners apply knowledge in the context of their daily work.

What Do Blended Learning Resources Include?

Each set includes:

  • PowerPoint slides presenting the core instructional content on the key learning objectives in each course
  • Tools and activities for the presenter/facilitator including practice, reflection and discussion questions
  • For selected courses, a detailed User Guide to help managers leverage the tools and facilitated activities

Resources have been designed using familiar applications including PowerPoint and Word to make it easy for organizations to brand and customize the materials so that they align more closely with their specific learning objectives.
