Next Steps For Gaining Access To Valuable SkillSoft Resources!
SkillSoft is an approved education provider and listed in the Academic Institutions Portal. Currently, the MyCAA program is not accepting new spouses into the program. This may change in the future, but you can access SkillSoft if you already have a MyCAA account by following the steps below in the MyCAA portal:
Step 1: Contact SkillSoft @ MyCAA@skillsoft.com or (703)753-8179 and follow appropriate school and MyCAA enrollment and Financial Assistance (FA) procedures.
Step 2: Create a Career and Training Plan. Within the plan you can select SkillSoft as your school and SKIL 100 – SkillSoft 1-Year License as the course. The start date must be a date within the next 30 days and the difference between the start date and end date must equal one year. All of this must match exactly to prevent billing errors and delays in receiving Financial Assistance.
Step 3: Get the Career and Training Plan approved by a MyCAA Consultant. You can contact MyCAA @ MYCAAHELP@militaryonesource.com or 1-800-342-9647.
Step 4: Apply for Financial Assistance
Once SkillSoft receives your approved Financial Assistance document you are on your way to receiving access to the over 2,800 eLearning course and 17,000 online books that are included in the SkillSoft MyCAA offering!
