Academic Credit Programs
Skillsoft eLearning can help you earn academic credit toward undergraduate degrees, professional certification programs or continuing education units (CEU) that recognize time and effort spent in sharpening professional skills.
The American Council on Education’s College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE CREDIT), connects workplace learning with colleges and universities by helping adults gain access to academic credit at colleges and universities for formal courses and examinations taken in the workplace or other settings outside traditional higher education. ACE CREDIT has evaluated and recommended college credit for over 40 Skillsoft learning programs, comprising hundreds of Skillsoft course titles.
Skillsoft is proud to partner with the University of Phoenix to help hard-working adults achieve their dreams for higher education. Over 2,400 Skillsoft courses are eligible for credit toward the University’s undergraduate degree programs through their Prior Learning Assessment Center (PLAC). The University has published a Credit Recommendation Guide which specifies the University of Phoenix Equivalency for each of the approved Skillsoft courses.
Drexel University holds a unique place in higher education as Philadelphia’s technological university and a leader in the integration of technology into academics. Drexel’s distinguished faculty and quality academic programs have been recognized internationally. Through a collaboration between Skillsoft Corporation and Drexel University, as a Skillsoft client, you can earn a degree or certificate and receive special tuition rates when you enroll in one of Drexel’s online programs.
George Mason University’s reputation as an innovative educational leader is rooted in Virginia’s strong educational tradition. Skillsoft has partnered with GMU and will award non-credit certificates in continuing education to students who successfully complete Skillsoft’s non-degree courses. The CEU (Continuing Education Unit) is a nationally recognized unit of measurement for participation in a non-credit continuing education program. This online curriculum is available to all continuing education students at the university.
