Perspectives 2011: What Works Now. What Comes Next.

By Candy Osborne

Perspectives2011 More than 500 people have registered for Perspectives, our e-learning conference, to share their vision and strategy around our underlying theme: What Works Now. What Comes Next.

Perspectives registrants are already chiming in with what this year’s theme means to them. In response to What Works Now, one person states, “The ability to open the learning opportunity when the training budget is small.” Many organizations have felt the training budget diminish or remain flat over the years but learning opportunities can still be extended despite this.

In looking ahead and answering What Works Now, another registrant states, “Giving the opportunity to re-think learning: learn when you need.” This means potentially changing our mindsets of what learning itself means. Does learning have to take place in a physical location? With others, at the same time? Or, can it happen anytime, anywhere? Must I read an entire book or complete an entire course to learn or can I surgically select just what I need, when I need it? Is it a little bit of everything? Different for each learner?

What does the theme What Works Now, What Comes Next mean to you? We want to know. Tell us here.

Why Attend Perspectives?

Perspectives attendees will benefit in a number of ways. Here are just a few examples:

  • Gain valuable industry insight from hundreds of peers
  • Learn how other organizations maximize their value with learning and talent management investments
  • See how others link learning to business value

For those who haven’t registered, there is still time. Registration will close on April 15. Register here.

As the team hunkers down for the remaining weeks of registration, we hope attendees are half as excited as we are to make connections and have fun learning about e-learning at Perspectives 2011!
