Dr. Kaku, noted physicist and TV commentator on all things science, recently produced a fascinating short video (included below) on the possibility of eventually being able to learn skills the way people did in the Matrix movie series. (For those of you who aren’t familiar with the movie, when people needed to learn a new skill, they basically attached a cable to their brain and downloaded the new skill – no more studying or taking courses!)
Unfortunately, Dr. Kaku concludes that we are still decades to centuries away from being able to learn in this way – so in the meantime, we’ll just have keep relying on e-learning to learn new skills!
