Corvias Group Reflects on 2013 Global Skillsoft Perspectives

As Perspectives in our
Australia/New Zealand region approaches in August, we’ll share a reflection
from a customer that attended our Global Perspectives event in Orlando. We’re
pleased to bring you a guest post from Melissa Janes, Corvias Group.

Learning & Development Manager, Corvias Group

2013 Global Skillsoft Perspectives was fundamental to
enhancing the development of our learning program at Corvias Group. Engaging
with other clients who have similar business challenges, learning how others
leveraged their programs and knowledge of additional products have allowed us
to have a better planning process for 2014 and beyond.

My top 3 takeaways from the Skillsoft Perspectives event were:

1.       Flexibility

There is flexibility within the
system that we were not fully aware of (allowing us to create vs. taking the
standard content).

2.       Architecture

I learned the importance of having a learning
architecture.

3.       Affirmation

I got affirmation that many customers were at the
same or similar stage, no matter the size of the organization.

How do we plan to implement these over the next year? By restructuring
our current program to include Skillsoft® KnowledgeCenter™ Portals and SkillStudio®
will allow us to focus on the three above.

Melissa Janes is an experienced

years working in organizations that focus in HPI, ADDIE, and content
