Skillsoft Introduces Code of Conduct Training for the Enterprise

We are excited to
announce Skillsoft’s Global Code of Conduct elearning solution, which provides foundational code of conduct and ethics
training for the enterprise in a flexible and customizable format. Pairing
highly-engaging video content with instructional material and skill-building
questions, the solution helps employees understand the risks associated with a
broad spectrum of compliance issues and how to properly address them.

Here at Skillsoft,
we understand that educating employees on a company’s code of conduct is
essential for avoiding legal violations and reducing the company’s exposure to
risk. To meet that need, organizations must provide effective, relevant
training content that keeps pace with the continually-changing legal landscape.
We are thrilled to strengthen our growing compliance and risk mitigation
portfolio with highly flexible training content that can be fully customized to
an organization’s code of conduct and maximizes the ease of deployment and
economics associated with an off-the-shelf offering. This particular solution
is designed to provide the critical training that can help a company build and
reinforce its ethical and lawful culture, and we look forward to partnering
with customers to deliver this crucial offering.

Administrative features include an annual reconfiguration
process to keep content relevant as the organization grows, trackable sign-off
by each employee to ensure completion and the ability to incorporate references
to the employer’s policies and other resources. The code of conduct training is
part of Skillsoft’s broader compliance and risk mitigation portfolio and
further cements the company as a pioneer in the field of technology-delivered
learning with a long history of innovation and delivering solutions for its
customers worldwide, ranging from global enterprises, government, and education
to mid-sized and small businesses.

The Global Code of Conduct solution is based on a course
template of material covering key compliance risk areas including anti-bribery,
antitrust, privacy and information security, insider trading, conflicts of
interest, preventing harassment, social media and electronic communications and
protection of company information, with additional risk areas to be added in
2014.

Skillsoft’s Global Code of Conduct solution is available on
the Skillport learning management system (LMS), as well as through integration
with third party systems.
