Getting Ready for Elliott Masie’s Annual Learning 2013

By Pam
Boiros, Vice President, Corporate Marketing, Skillsoft

Next week, a contingent of
Skillsoft employees will participate in the Learning
2013 conference
in Orlando, Fla. This annual event is sponsored by the
Masie Center and hosted by learning legend Elliott
Masie, and features a host of prominent keynote speakers, and dozens of
sessions led by learning practitioners, academics and vendors.

The Skillsoft team members who
will be attending Learning 2013 represent our strategic planning, product
management, instructional development and marketing groups.  This event always provides the latest
thinking and best practices in the learning industry—along with a healthy dose
of predictions given Elliott’s well-deserved reputation as a futurist.

Learning 2013 also offers us the
opportunity to present Skillsoft’s thought leadership to the industry as
well.   Monica Kraft, Product Manager,
and John Ambrose, Senior VP of Strategy and Emerging Business, are presenting a
session titled Technology
Has Changed. Has Your LMS
?
on Monday, November 4, 3:05–4:15 p.m., and
Jeff Bond, from our Product Marketing team, is participating in a panel
discussion titled Lazy LMS?  Tired LMS?
Next Steps.
on Tuesday, November 5, 12:15–1:45 p.m.

In addition, as a sponsor, we’ll
be at Monday evening’s Networking & Marketplace Reception from 6:15–7:30 p.m.
We look forward to seeing many customers there!

If you’ll be at Learning 2013,
please attend our session or find us at the evening reception on Monday.  If you’re not able to attend Learning 2013,
follow the discussion about the event on Twitter via tweets using the event
hashtag: #Learning2013
