Open Your Eyes to Online Compliance Training

By Michael Newton

Imagine you were on a train and the driver closed their eyes between stations.
Would you feel confident that you would make it to your desired destination on time, if at all? How safe would that make you feel? This is a ridiculous idea, of course, but many business leaders are adopting a similar approach to running their organisation.

Some Director-level employees think that non-frontline activities —such as compliance—are little more than a distraction, but they are a vital cog in the machine. Closing your eyes and hoping that your employees will do the right thing is not a very good approach to take at all.

In fact, Directors could face prison and unlimited fines if they do not protect employees by keeping their compliance knowledge updated.

That’s the bad news. The good news is that our new compliance module, Skillsoft Advanced Compliance (AC), is being launched at the end of March.

No matter what size your business is, our training will make it easy for businesses to educate employees on complex regulations including healthcare & safety compliance, and legal compliance issues such as anti-bribery, equality, licensing, business ethics and code of conduct.

Available on desktop computers and a range of mobile devices, the courses can be paused and restarted at any time, and comprise of videos, literature, images, digital content and bespoke content. Open your eyes and keep your business and employees safe.

Any organisations wishing to participate in an online demonstration of Skillsoft’s Advance Compliance Module should contact their Account Executive for more information or call Skillsoft on 01276 401994.

Skillsoft’s Advanced Compliance will be available to U.K. businesses from the end of March 2014 and more information can be found in this white paper on the importance of integrating compliance with your business strategy.
