This year’s Perspectives was incredibly exciting for us as we announced the winners of our first-ever Inspire Awards! The awards showcased the ground-breaking work that learning and development professionals are carrying out across EMEA.
The ceremony took place at our annual conference EMEA Skillsoft Perspectives in London last week. It celebrated our customers for their significant achievements, and highlighted best practices in learning and development. We strive to recognise innovative ideas and inspiring leaders who are helping to transform the learning landscape. The awards seek to recognise where excellence in elearning has had a lasting, measurable and wide reaching impact.
After some tough decisions from the independent judges, this year the winners include the Bank of Ireland, Bluebird Care, Orange Business Services, Safeguard World International and John Lewis Partnership! Each, in various ways, has demonstrated how Skillsoft’s learning solutions are helping organisations to improve their business performance through a variety of leading online learning programmes.
The 2014 Skillsoft Inspire Award categories and winners are below:
- Screen Stars Video: John Lewis Partnership
- Best Compliance Initiative: Bluebird Care
- Best Elearning Project: Bank of Ireland
- Best Implementation of Elearning: Safeguard World International
- Elearning Team of the Year: Orange Business Services
We are thrilled with the positive response to our inaugural awards programme and are proud to honour this group of exceptional organisations and people who truly personify what it means to make learning integral to everyday business and life. Congratulations to all who were recognised, and thank you to all those who participated!
Special thanks to the independent panel of industry experts who judged the awards this year, including Charles Jennings, Managing Director of Duntroon Associates, David MacLeod, Co-Chair for Engage for Success, Lynne Sedgmore, CEO of 157 Group and Susannah Clements, Deputy Chief Executive of CIPD.
