New Offerings Expand Welch Way Leadership Development Program Portfolio

By Tim Redfern

Given the effectiveness of the Welch Way programs, we’ve been eager to expand our efforts and bring the offerings to as many learners as possible. With new enhancements to the program portfolio, we’ve been able to do just that.

The program, which launched in February 2014, is a partnership between Skillsoft and the Jack Welch Management Institute at Strayer University that leverages world-renowned CEO and management expert Jack Welch’s unique insights on building winning teams and developing leaders.

We’re excited to announce that new Welch Way programs and expanded international offerings are now available to further help organizations around the world develop managers and leaders who can meet the demands of today’s dynamic business environments. We’re also happy to announce that the program was recently recognized by CLO Magazine as part of their Learning in Practice Awards for “Excellence in Content.”

New Programs

We’re introducing two new programs in January 2015 that will aid organizations in developing the leadership talent necessary to compete in a global economy:

  • Innovation and Agility – this program will encourage learners to act with speed and decisiveness, introducing an innovative mindset in an organization that focuses on making daily improvements and leveraging the good ideas of others; and
  • Building a Winning Career – this program leverages Jack Welch’s straightforward guidance in helping learners understand how to over-deliver and focus on what matters most for success in growing professionally.

International Offerings

The Welch Way programs will now also bring the same management development opportunities to French- and Latin American Spanish-speaking markets. The programs include Leadership in Action, Managing Change, Creating a Winning Strategy, Finance for Managers, Managing Your Team and Operational Excellence.
