I’m pleased to share that I’m coming up on my one year anniversary at Skillsoft. I’ve spent the past year in my role as a graphic designer creating ads, branding materials, web banners, icons and getting to know things like our corporate fonts, templates, colors, corporate policy and so on. But during that time, I’ve also had the pleasure of learning a lot about the people I work with. Here in our Nashua office (and worldwide, really!), I’ve had the opportunity to meet many extremely generous, kind-hearted people whom I’m proud to call both my colleagues and my friends.
That kindness and generosity was more evident than ever this past Friday, when my Nashua colleagues and I assembled and donated 43 Thanksgiving baskets to families in need – complete with turkeys, stuffing and all the fixings to prepare a delicious holiday dinner. We delivered them to various local support organizations, including Bridges, Corpus Christi, Front Door Agency and the Ann Marie House.
I know it may sound cliché, but this isn’t only a time of year to give thanks for your own life’s blessings – it’s also time to lend a hand to those who are less fortunate.
I hope you can join my colleagues and me as we reflect on the many ways we can help our communities and all that we’re thankful for this season!
