This year we took some time out to join the woolly revolution and support Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day 2014.
Sporting our most festive knits, we wore our Christmas jumpers to work in a bid to make the world better with a sweater—digging out our winter knitwear to make a donation to Save the Children.
From snowmen and reindeer to mistletoe and turkeys, the jumpers brought some early festive cheer to the office. Everyone who popped on a pullover gave a donation to support the charity’s life saving work around the world.
Celebrating Christmas Jumper Day 2014 proved a great way to have some fun, raise funds and help make the world a better place for some of the world’s most vulnerable children.
As well as sporting their most festive knits, staff also took part in games and activities designed to boost our donation tally yet further. The festive fun on offer included challenges like ‘guess the number of baubles in the jar’ and a Cool Yule quiz.
To raise even more money, our talented office bakers demonstrated their British Bake Off skills by cooking up an array of delicious cakes and other treats for staff to purchase.
Our fundraising total for the day was £200.78 and we’re proud to have taken part in such a great fundraising day on behalf of such a fantastic charity.
There are lots of ways to support the important work Save the Children undertakes in 120 countries. To find out more, or get involved, visit www.savethechildren.org.uk.
