At Skillsoft, we pride ourselves on helping customers develop great employees and leaders. But we couldn’t do it without a truly motivating and inspirational person at the helm of our own organization.
Last week, Skillsoft CEO Chuck Moran was honored as EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2015 New England for demonstrating innovation and leadership in the technology sector. Having built Skillsoft into a marketing-leading business over the last 17 years, Moran was honored for transforming the way organizations use technology to improve business performance and for contributing to the vibrancy of the regional community.
“When I founded Skillsoft almost two decades ago, our goal was to help companies thrive by providing tools and solutions that build the skills their employees need to be successful and productive in their jobs,” said Moran. “Though the workplace and our solutions have evolved significantly since our founding, Skillsoft’s core philosophy remains focused on empowering organizations and employees to improve their performance. I could not be more proud to work alongside a team that continually raises the bar to ensure we deliver on this commitment, and I am honored to accept the recognition on behalf of every member of the Skillsoft organization.”
Moran will advance to the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2015 national program where ward winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on Nov. 14.
