How do we shift our learning standpoint? Simply put, we need to change the way we learn to have a bottom up approach to learning and not just a top down method. Learning is now all about catering to the needs of the employees and not the employer. In order to keep up with ever evolving development in technology learning requirements need to be addressed as they arise, before the gaps begin to form. Time is money. The future is being built around on the job learning, that can be accessed on any device, at any time and from any location – this is the key to filling the digital skills gap. Employees need to be able to access the right learning material, whatever they need, at the time of need – this is the true identity of just in time, on the job training.
