Skillsoft and SumTotal will be at Learning Technologies in London next week, Europe's leading showcase of organisational learning and the technology used to support learning at work.
We will have a stand (#B8 no need to memorise as there’ll be a map), some VR headsets loaded with a game that simulates a job in the future – which gives you a tongue-in-cheek virtual reality experience of a world where robots have replaced all human jobs. It really is a whole new world: one the puts you in charge and gives you the thrills and skills you may not have in this world. And who doesn’t want that?
It’s a universal truth that we all love freebies. And at conferences we all load up on stationery, lanyards and water bottles. Well, we want to give you something even better. Something that might just raise the bar so high we have shot ourselves in the foot. But we’re doing it anyway.
And this I get to keep as a secret. Although I might just drop a hint or two—like it is made of paper yet it’s not stationery, and you attach it to your mobile, yet it’s not a charger. And it works along the same lines as Oculus Rift, but isn’t Oculus Rift. Intrigued?
We also have sponsored seminar sessions from Donald Clark, PlanB Learning on “AI: current and future applications in learning” and David Perring, Fosway Group on “Transforming the real learner experience.” Skillsoft customer Lloyds Banking Group, is also presenting a conference session on business-aligned learning. Check the conference guide for times and locations!
