Why Skillsoft Channel Partners Should Attend Perspectives

I attended my first Perspectives in 2003. To this day, Perspectives is the highlight of my year, and for many of my partners it serves as catalyst for thoughtful review of the Skillsoft solutions they currently offer their customers.

And I’ve noticed that those partners who attend Perspectives tend to return year after year; not just to gain insight into Skillsoft’s strategic direction and new product offerings, but for the opportunity to sit down with our product managers one-on-one. This interaction gives them the chance to hear customers discuss their loyalty and usage programs, and the opportunity to meet with their Skillsoft account teams and plan for the coming year.

While I enjoy the entire event, it is the Channel Partner Summit, that is the center of the two days. It is a time of pure channel focus which provides insight into channel issues, partner concerns, and program changes. We discuss everything from overcoming conflict to customer challenges to product strategy to partner successes.

I’m thrilled to announce that this year, for the first time ever, we’re introducing a ‘Channel Partner of the Year’ award, which will recognize a Skillsoft Channel Partner who demonstrates commitment, excellence and innovation.

The weeks following Perspectives are usually spent meeting with partners who also attended, discussing how to improve their solution base, and take advantage of everything they learned at the event.  This has in the past proved to be an invaluable take away from Perspectives and further makes the event just so important/beneficial.

This year’s Perspectives is at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, NV from April 11-13, 2017. The Channel Partner Summit, exclusively for Skillsoft Channel Partners, is on Day 1 (Tuesday, April 11) in the afternoon. Learn more or register today.

Hope to see you there!
