I’m delighted to announce our 2018 Skillsoft Live Event lineup: a terrific array of experts carefully selected to address critical issues and key competencies that are essential for today’s leaders.
On March 7, David Allen author of the groundbreaking Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Fee Productivity, kicks off the series. Considered one of the world’s most influential thinkers on productivity, David will discuss how to create order of out of chaos, stay afloat in a world of too much to do, and gain greater stability, clarity, and time to engage with what really matters.
Charlene Li, author of many best-selling books on leadership in the digital era including the New York Times Bestseller Open Leadership, joins us on March 22. Charlene will look at how organizations manage digital transformations, the leadership required to manage change, and the culture necessary to execute on growth strategies.
On April 24, we are thrilled to have Jonah Berger, author of Contagious and Invisible Influence: The Hidden Forces that Shape Behavior. A professor at Wharton Business School, Jonah has spent over 15 years studying how social influence works and how it drives products and ideas to catch on. Attendees have an exclusive opportunity to learn how to influence others, make smarter decisions, and better understand the mystery that is human behavior.
We continue the series in the fall with two highly regarded experts, Margaret Heffernan and Jacob Morgan.
On September 12, Margaret Heffernan, an entrepreneur, lecturer and author of five books including Willful Blindness, will discuss the meaning and characteristics of collective intelligence, what gets in the way of teamwork, and how great leadership teams function.
On November 13 we wrap up our 2018 series with Jacob Morgan, author of The Future of Work and The Employee Experience Advantage. Morgan is a futurist exploring what work is going to look like and how organizations can create employee experiences to drive engagement and productivity. In this session, Jacob will discuss employee experience vs. employee engagement, how to design and create impactful employee experiences, and what some of the world’s most forward-thinking organizations are doing.
