About the Authors

Jin Chen is the professor of innovation management at Department of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Strategy of Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management, and also the Director of Research Center of Technological Innovation of Tsinghua University. His research areas are managing R&D and technological innovation, and innovation policy, and he has consulted on innovation for many Chinese companies. He has published papers at leading international journals and is now the Editor in Chief for Global Transitions, International Journal of Innovation Studies, International Journal of Knowledge Management Studies and International Journal of Technoentrepreneurship.

Gang Zheng is an associate professor of technology and innovation management and deputy chair of Department of Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Strategy, at the School of Management, Zhejiang University, P.R.China. He is also the founding director of Zhejiang University Technology Venture Program (ZTVP), as well as Venture-lab of Silicon Valley in Zhejiang University, China. He has published numerous papers in Chinese management studies and continues to be an active scholar in the area of strategic management of technology and innovation, and technology entrepreneurship. He also serves as a consultant and trainer in the fields of technology and innovation management, as well as project management.
