About the Author

Richard Blum has worked for more than 18 years for a large U.S. government organization as a network and systems administrator. During this time he has administered Unix, Linux, Novell, and Microsoft servers and has helped to design and maintain a 3500-user network utilizing Cisco switches and routers.

Rich has a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Management, specializing in Management Information Systems, from Purdue University.
