About the Author

Anastasia de Waal is Director of the Family and Education Unit and Deputy Director at think tank Civitas. A regular contributor to broadcast media, she has also written for The Guardian, the Sunday Times, The Sun, the New York Times, the Daily Telegraph and the Mail on Sunday. She is the founder of I Can Be, a charitable programme that takes disadvantaged children to visit professionals in their workplaces.
