About the Author
Preethi Anand
Preethi Anand is assistant vice president, L&D, at a leading international bank, and is responsible for the design and execution of Learning strategy for 8,000-plus employees in the bank’s group service center in Hyderabad, India. With more than 10 years of experience in L&D, she has served in various capacities in L&D, from setting up L&D functions, leading digital learning, driving regional learning interventions, implementing learning management systems, establishing assessment centers, heading branding and communications for L&D, and designing leadership development interventions. She is recognized for designing efficient Learning & OD Solutions that support the business teams in their plans for today and helps them in their growth strategies. Preethi has a bachelor’s degree in English literature, a master's in social work (specializing in human resource management) and recently completed an executive management program with Cornell University. A frequent contributor to TD magazine, TD at Work, and the Training Journal, she has won several awards, including the Bronze Award in the category Global L&D Professional of the Year conferred by Training Journal UK and the "HR 40 under 40" recognition in India, conferred by Jombay and CNBC.
