You will be able to efficiently determine appropriate IPv4 addressing for a network infrastructure without needing a subnet calculator. This course focuses on IPv4 addressing and subnetting. It will describe the concept of borrowing bits, how to determine the number of subnets created and the available hosts for each subnet, as well as how to identify the network ID, the directed broadcast address, and the usable IPv4 addresses for any given subnet. It will also describe the importance of VLSM (Variable-length Subnet Masking).
