Overview/Description
Organizations should regularly evaluate existing processes to make sure that they meet targets and specifications. This capability measurement in turn leads to business process improvement. By measuring and analyzing process capability and performance, organizations are able to report those Lean and Lean Six Sigma levels. This data can drive process improvement, process control, and process design. This course will present some methods you can use to measure and interpret common performance indices. It will also cover ways to verify the stability and normality of a process, as well as key considerations to measure process capability. It is aligned with ASQ’s 2015 Six Sigma Green Belt Body of Knowledge.

Target Audience
Candidates seeking Six Sigma Green Belt certification; quality professionals, engineers, production managers, and frontline supervisors; process owners and champions charged with the responsibility of improving quality and processes at the organizational or departmental level
