Skillsoft announces new and improved care courses now available via ecommerce and confirms care certificate plans
Camberley, 7th October 2014: Skillsoft, an international learning solutions provider, reinforces today its position as a leading elearning solution provider in the Care sector by the release of an improved range of tablet-ready courses and their availability via a new ecommerce store.
Skillsoft further confirms its intention to launch a solution that will help clients deliver and track learning for the new Care Certificate, currently due to replace the Common Induction Standards.
The new and improved compliance elearning courses offer enhanced learner interaction, including updated graphics and assessments, while covering the broad range of topics needed by leading Care organisations. Additionally, the new courses can be accessed on either PC or tablet devices. All existing clients with license agreements for legacy versions of these courses will be given access to the new range of courses under the terms of their current licence agreements.
While larger organisations can already administer and report on employees’ access to Skillsoft’s courses through the Skillport or Academy Learning Platforms, smaller care organisations can also now use the courses via the new UK ecommerce store. This allows customers to purchase ad hoc licences that give employees access to the courses they need. This new store can be found at http://store.skillsoftcompliance.co.uk.
In addition, Skillsoft is currently meeting with select Care sector clients to share and discuss the design of an elearning solution to enable organisations to meet the demands of the new care certificate.
