Strengthening the Tone at the Middle

A conversation with Ethisphere on Strategies for middle managers to improve your compliance program.

Setting the right tone at the top is critical to establishing a culture of compliance. But companies sometimes overlook the tone at the middle. Middle managers carry the responsibility for promoting and modeling ethical behavior throughout the organization. They are also the first point of engagement for employee concerns and reports of misconduct.

Join us for a conversation on Strengthening the Tone at the Middle at the Compliance Advisory Council Fall Meeting on Wednesday, September 29 at 12:00 p.m. EDT. Compliance expert and Ethisphere Managing Director Douglas Allen will lead a discussion with compliance leaders from 30 council companies on how middle managers impact workplace culture and safety, including:

  • The role middle managers play in creating a civil workplace
  • Best practices for empowering managers
  • Tools like surveys and ethics toolkits to make it easier for them to play this critical role
