About This Episode

How to Build a True Learning Culture

Ben Sieke, Director of Talent Development and Learning for Delta Dental of California and affiliates is passionate about championing a culture of learning, and implementing the infrastructure needed to do so. For Delta Dental, this has required a mindset shift, recognizing that learning isn’t just a “nice to do,” but something the organization can’t afford not to do. Much like the actual process of learning, developing a strong culture of learning is a journey – it can’t be built in a day. In this episode, Ben shares more about Delta Dental’s journey to become a champion of learning among its workforce. He also reflects on the importance of workplace relationships, and how strengthening these relationships can lead to transformation for both individuals and the larger organization.
