The Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI)

The Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) is the credentialing affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world's largest association devoted to professional human resource management. Skillsoft is an HRCI Approved Provider. Being an HRCI Approved Provider gives recertification candidates a ready reference to quality continuing education. The Approved Provider program eliminates the guesswork when taking continuing education courses by allowing individuals to know before they register if the activity will be counted toward recertification and if so, how many recertification credit hours (RCHs) will be awarded.

The California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)

The California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) is a state governmental agency established by law to protect the public by regulating the practice of registered nurses. The BRN is responsible for implementation and enforcement of the Nursing Practice Act: the laws related to nursing education, licensure, practice, and discipline. The Nursing Practice Act created a nine-member Board which serves as the BRN decision-making body. Skillsoft is an approved licensed Continuing Education Provider in the State of California. Through this honor, Skillsoft has been recognized as a provider of continuing education courses to assist California Registered Nurses in their ongoing professional development. International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA™) is an independent non-profit professional association serving the growing field of Business Analysis. IIBA has become the leading association in the world of business analysis through the creation of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK®), the collection of knowledge within the BA profession, reflecting the current generally accepted practices. The IIBA has created the Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®), a designation awarded to candidates who have successfully demonstrated their expertise in this field. Skillsoft is an approved IIBA™ Endorsed Education Provider for CBAP®, Provider #E108. Information Systems Security

Information Systems Security - controlling access to systems and protecting the integrity, availability and confidentiality of information - is a critical concern of the executive management of any corporation or government agency. In support of this demand, the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, or (ISC)®, has developed several certifications for information security professionals. While not sponsored or endorsed by (ISC), Skillsoft has developed several courses that are designed to assist those who are pursuing the CISSP® - Certified Information Systems Security Professional and SSCP® - Systems Security Certified Practitioner credentials. Certification holders are reqired to earn continuing professional education credits and Skillsoft's entire course catalog is eligible for consideration.

The Association for Operations Management (APICS) is a global leader and premier source of the body of knowledge in operations management, including production, inventory, supply chain, materials management, purchasing, and logistics. Skillsoft recognizes the importance of APICS to many of its clients, particularly those in the manufacturing, distribution and service sectors, and although Skillsoft does not offer courseware that is aligned toward APICS certification programs, Skillsoft courses cover a wide range of subjects that support the professional development of APICS certification holders, and the time spent in training with many of Skillsoft courses can be applied toward the accumulation of professional development points, which are required to maintain a certification.
