About the Authors

Robert Rachlin, President of Robert Rachlin Associates, is an internationally known author, lecturer, and consultant in the area of financial management. He serves as Assistant Dean for Business Studies at Hofstra University and has previously served as vice president of several companies in planning and budgeting capacities. He is the author of The Handbook of Budgeting, Third Edition, Return on Investment Strategies for Decision-Making, and many other books.

Allen Sweeny is a former Senior Vice President and CFO of Del Monte Foods. He also served in a variety of financial, development, and general management positions for RJR Nabisco and Exxon in subsidiaries throughout the world. He is the author of the original edition of AMACOM's best-selling Accounting Fundamentals for Nonfinancial Executives and edited with Robert Rachlin the Handbook of Strategic Planning, Handbook of International Financial Management, The Handbook of Budgeting, and other books.
