About the Author

Joe Mysak is editor of Bloomberg Brief Municipal Market. He has covered the municipal market since 1981, and is the author of The Guidebook to Municipal Bonds: The History, the Industry, the Mechanics, with George Marlin (1991); Perpetual Motion: An Illustrated History of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, with Judith Schiffer (1997); and The Handbook for Muni-Bond Issuers (1998). In 1998, he received the “Industry Contribution” award from the National Federation of Municipal Analysts. He and his wife live in Brooklyn, New York.
