Job Aids are often the most effective and sensible approach to getting learning and performance on the job results. They may even be more important tools in these time-pressured, resource-constrained times. This book provides practical advice on the creation and use of effective job aids. It is written specifically for those who have little or no experience in developing job aids or need to find out more information or brush up existing skills. You will find little emphasis on theory, models, or a review of literature. Instead, this book is focused on providing a practical understanding of the development and use of job aids. If you don’t know much about job aids, this book is a great place to start. The book includes a wide range of examples and practical advice on effective formatting of job aids.
