This book Mathematical Foundation of Computer Science has been designed to suit the needs of B.Tech., Second year, First semester and MCA first year students of INTU, Hyderabad, and also for M.Tech., B.Sc., BCA and IT related professional courses. Each topic has been started with introductory part and developed gradually up to the standard form. The theory part in each chapter has been written in easy and lucid language. A large number of examples have been solved which help students to understand the mathematical problems.

About the Authors

Dr. J. Rajendra Prasad is a Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Applications and Science & Humanities, P.V.P. Siddhartha Institute of Technology, Kanuru, Vijayawada. He has more than 25 years of teaching experience. He obtained Ph.D. degree from Andhra University in 1986. His interest of research includes-Functional Analysis and Cryptography. He has more than 20 research publications in various national and international journals.

T. Rama Rao is a Senior Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, P.V.P Siddhartha Institute of Technology, Kanuru, Vijayawada. He has more than 16 years of teaching experience. He obtained M. Phil. from Andhra University. Presently he is doing Ph.D. in Fuzzy Logic.

A. Madana Mohana Rao is a lecturer, Department of Mathematics, V. R. Siddhartha Engineering College, Kanuru, Vijayawada. He has more than 16 years of teaching experience. He obtained M.Phil. from Osmania University. Presently he is doing Ph.D. in Fluid dynamics.
