About the Authors
Merle Ilgenfritz has 15 years extensive experience training corporate clients at colleges, universities, private technical training institutions and vendor training sites. He is a VMware Certified Professional (VCP) and VMware Certified Instructor (VCI).
He also is a Sun Certified Instructor and has written Sun hardware and Solaris 10 administration courses for Sun Education. He participated in the development of the Solaris 10 Certification exams and has taught over 80 different customer and internal courses at their training sites across the world. Merle has taught over 160 different Microsoft/Unix based courses over the years as well.
John Ilgenfritz has been involved with information technology for over 17 years. He spent several years working as a systems administrator maintaining Windows and UNIX/Linux servers.
For 7 years, he worked as a Software Engineer involved with support and development of Enterprise Network Systems Management and ITIL Service Level Management software.
John is an A+ Certified Technician and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. He is also a VMware Certified Professional (VCP) and VMware Certified Instructor (VCI.)
