Heat illnesses can be life threatening, so it's crucial for supervisors to take the proper preventative actions and intervene appropriately to maximize workplace safety. This course equips supervisors to recognize the risk factors, signs, and symptoms of heat-related illnesses, and presents first aid guidelines for treating these illnesses. The course also explores supervisors' responsibilities for preventing and responding to heat-related illnesses, and outlines workplace high-heat requirements.
