Marking and Labeling dangerous goods packages properly when preparing shipments for transport is essential for everyone's safety. In this course, you will be introduced to the International Air Transport Association's marking labeling requirements. It will enable you to recognize and identify dangerous goods, including packaging, preparation, and handling. It will also help you recognize the additional requirements placed on the shipper by the Department of Transportation when an alternative regulation is used.This training course may be used to meet the requirements for general awareness and familiarization training. Your employer will provide additional function-specific training.
