This 20-video course prepares learners for the MS-201 Implementing a Hybrid and Secure Messaging Platform certification exam by examining Exchange Server e-mail address policies, available policy templates, and filtering methods. The exam tests abilities of messaging administrators to plan and implement a hybrid configuration, manage migration, secure the messaging environment, and manage organizational settings. In this course, you will learn to use the EAC (Exchange administrator center) to create and modify e-mail address policies, apply policies to e-mail recipients, and remove e-mail address policies. Then you will examine managed availability, workload management components, and user resource consumption. Next, learn how to use the Get-ThrottlingPolicy cmdlet (lightweight command in PowerShell) to determine user throttling settings; use the new throttling policy cmdlet to create a user throttling policy; and use the Set-ThrottlingPolicy association cmdlet to assign policies to users. Then examine how to view and remove existing throttling policy associations, and delete policies. Finally, learners examine the available scopes in custom throttling policies and considerations for throttling in coexistence environments.
