This course provides information about control of hazardous energy and work under the protection of a lockout/tagout energy control program. The intent of the course is to provide information on lockout/tagout practices and the significance of lockout/tagout devices. The content in this course is designed to comply with CAL/OSHA (California Division of Occupational Safety and Health) regulatory requirements. Learner objectives are to define and describe terms and techniques commonly used in a lockout/tagout program and recall standard lockout/tagout procedures.
