Are you familiar with your company's record retention policy? Do you know what records you should keep, and for how long? And what about disposing of sensitive documents? Following your company's record retention policy supports the organization's internal documentation and accounting systems and addresses compliance requirements in state and federal law. This course will discuss how to use the policy to identify which records must be retained, the different formats in which records may be stored, and common techniques for record disposal.
