All workplaces have safety and health standards that have been imposed by federal and state authorities to protect the health and welfare of individual employees. This course covers the regulatory and industry standards for environmental health and safety. You'll learn about nonregulatory organizations and regulatory agencies that establish standards that impact the workplace. You'll also find out how the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or OSHA, establishes standards, and how to recognize the types of inspection and enforcement activities OSHA performs.
