MariaDB is a popular tool for SQL programming. To use it, you must first know how to install it on your machine and set it up for your needs. In this course, you'll learn how to install MariaDB for macOS and MS Windows. You'll then run MariaDB from a command line interface (CLI) and create a new custom user for MariaDB from the CLI -an essential step for running MariaDB from a client such as DBeaver, as connecting as root is not considered a best practice.
