DEVELOPING LEADER AS COACH: DINNER AND COACHING WORKSHOP AT VIEW BOSTON

On October 12th from 5-9 pm, Skillsoft is hosting a professional coaching workshop and dinner at View Boston in Boston – the panoramic experience high above the heart of the city! At View Boston, you’ll get a 360-degree view of the city atop one of the tallest buildings in New England!

During the event, you can look forward to engaging industry perspectives and inspiration on developing a leadership growth pipeline within your organizations.

Vice President of Skillsoft Coaching, Leena Rinne, will kick off the evening with a keynote and outline of the evening. From there, enjoy dinner and a hands-on coaching workshop led by ICF-certified Skillsoft Coach, Lisa Mims.

It’ll be an exciting evening to network with your peers, eat delicious food, and have the opportunity to drive you and your organization forward.

Timing:

• 5 pm - 5:30 pm: Arrival, check-in, and appetizers available

Leena Rinne Vice President of Skillsoft Coaching Skillsoft

Leena Rinne (pronounced Lay-na Renee) has joined Skillsoft in the newly created role of Vice President of Skillsoft Coaching. In her role, Leena is responsible for the strategy, management, and delivery of our Skillsoft Coaching solutions – from vision-setting and strategic direction to defining and prioritizing the roadmap.

Leena joins Skillsoft from FranklinCovey, a renowned training and consulting company, where she oversaw the international operations teams for EMEA and APAC. In 2011, Leena shifted to the role of a Senior Consultant, where she worked with a wide range of clients, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, across various industries. She spent six years as part of FranklinCovey’s senior leadership team, where she was responsible for the consulting, facilitation, and coaching businesses. Her passion in this role was the effective positioning of the human touchpoint in learning and behavior change.

Leena firmly believes in the power of diversity. She launched and led FranklinCovey’s DEI council and was an ongoing executive sponsor of the LGBTQ+ ERG. As a leader, Leena fosters an inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives and empowers individuals to bring their authentic selves to work.

Leena is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Lisa Mims
Skillsoft Coach

Lisa Mims is an ICF-Certified Executive Coach who is passionate about helping her clients articulate, clarify, and achieve their goals. Prior to coaching, Lisa spent 15+ years in various corporate industries: financial services at JP Morgan Chase, retail and brand management at Kate Spade LLC and Gillette/P&G, and strategy consulting at Parthenon Consulting.

Lisa’s internal coaching experiences have been at top-tier organizations and academic institutions, and her current clients represent a range of companies, from Fortune 500 to new entrepreneurial ventures. Lisa works with her clients on a range of topics and goals including transitions to new managerial roles, enhancing leadership presence and communication, transitions to parenthood and in/out of maternity leave, effective team and project management, and exploring changes in career paths. She brings curiosity, structure, kindness, authenticity, commitment, and a sense of humor to her work.

Lisa holds a BS from Cornell University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. She is a Certified Co-Active Professional Coach and is trained in the Positive Intelligence methodology.

Lisa lives outside of Boston, MA with her husband, two children, and two dogs.
