What do you do differently from others?
I mainly work with clients in multinational companies, start-ups, government, and different United Nations organizations. This gives me a broad perspective of leadership styles, organizational needs and current developments, allowing me to share this knowledge and experience with all my clients and partners. I also train coaches, which provides me with continuous growth opportunities.
My coaching/facilitating style invites the client to feel safe and trusting; often, clients say: “I did not feel you were drilling me with questions, but the conversation invited me to look deeper.”
What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach/facilitator?
The fact that I was born in Venezuela to Dutch immigrants has allowed me to grow in two different worlds at once, giving me the European education and the Latin experience, topping it with working/living all over the world. I know that differences are the “salt & pepper” each client brings into partnering with me, so there is no space for assumptions, but open and transparent communication, adding genuine interest in others.
